Classes

Kinusca Stork

Prenatal care

In this class, we prepare the body and the couple for childbirth through practical movement.

We work on pelvic mobility, strengthening, breathing for labor, and positions that aid in childbirth. The partner learns techniques for physical and emotional support.

It includes exercises adapted for pregnancy, Pilates, stretching, gentle dancing, and couples massage sessions. There is also time for sharing among pregnant women.

Postpartum

Physical recovery class after childbirth, with or without a baby present.

We focus on strengthening the pelvic and abdominal floor, posture, mobility, and progressive reactivation of the body. We integrate the baby into exercises with a sling and moments of infant massage.

Simple, guided, and safe movement for this stage.

Kinusca Explorers

Practical lesson on motor and sensory development for babies and young children.

We created movement circuits, explored textures, played coordination games, and had reading time with music.

Parents actively participate in all activities. Intentional play fosters autonomy and bonding.

Children's Classes

Kinusca was born from a deep desire that has always lived within each of us: to unite families through movement, creativity, and genuine sharing. We are different, we come from different backgrounds, but we discovered that what drives us is exactly the same—the desire to create a space where people feel at home, welcomed, and supported.

We dream of a Kinusca that is more than just a studio or a project. We want to build a community. A home where physical activity meets the arts, where there is space to walk together, get our hands dirty with paint, create rhythms, tell stories and, above all, experience quality moments. We aspire to have an empathetic, available team, aligned with this purpose of caring for entire families: each person on their individual path, but also all together.

At Kinusca, we want mothers, fathers, and children to find a place to reconnect. A place where the pace slows down, where time together truly matters, and where caring for the family is experienced as a team. We're starting slowly, with full hearts, and we want to grow with you.

Come and discover our space, feel our energy, and be among the first to believe in this dream. We are ready to welcome you. See you soon!

A studio to grow as a family

Susana Maia

Susana Maia

Hello! I'm Susana Maia, I'm 40 years old and I'm Francisco's mother, my greatest teacher of love and patience.

I have a Master's degree in Sports Science, and teaching has always been my starting point. Then came dance, which opened doors to classes, choreography, competitions, television, and tours with great artists. Dance taught me discipline, joy, and the magic of expressing ourselves without words.

Today I teach Physical Education and dance to children aged 3 to 14, in a space where movement is not only physical activity but also self-confidence, creativity, and freedom. I also work with adults in personalized training, because I believe that every body has its own story.

In 2021, when I became a mother, I profoundly realized how much the body and mind need time, care, and support. Motherhood brought love, but also anxieties, and it was at that moment that I learned the value of creating safe, welcoming, and fun environments for growth.

This is what we want to offer families: a safe, light and energetic space where movement strengthens bonds, builds trust and brings loved ones closer. Come and join us at Kinusca.

Catarina Lima

I'm Catarina Lima, 37 years old and mother of two boys.

I have a degree in Sports Science and studied dance and acting. I was a dancer for over 10 years, a choreographer for soap operas, and I worked with various corporate audiences, where I developed communication, creativity, and teamwork skills. Today I am the founder of Moving Pictures, a video and photography production company.

I've always loved children, telling stories, inventing challenges, and creating imaginary worlds. In fact, my biggest dream has always been to be a mother.

During my first postpartum period, I found a program where pregnant women and women exercised their bodies and minds alongside their babies. That's where I started teaching dance classes, in such a welcoming and transformative environment. I quickly realized I wanted to create something like that, but with continuity.

Family always comes first, and it became clear that there was a lack of spaces where we could experience art, movement, and connection… together! That's what we want to build: a place for mothers, fathers, and children to grow, create, and move together. Come and discover Kinusca.
